We are not reopening our restaurant, yet.
We have made the difficult decision to not reopen our restaurant for dining, at this stage. We know how much our guests love having the luxury of an onsite restaurant but we have chosen to support our local cafe and restaurant colleagues so that we all recover together. We’ll offer you great accommodation and send you off with our best recommendations to find some of Warburton and the Yarra Valley’s best dining venues. Breakfast is included in your tariff, as always.
If you’d like to plan an event that includes accommodation, along with dining, such as a retreat, corporate offsite, wedding or celebration, we can collaborate with wonderful local caterers to deliver a perfect event. Please email us and describe your requirements and we’ll work with you to find a caterer that suits you.
We recommend the following dining options in Warburton and if you’re venturing further afield please refer to our pinned recommendations on the google map below. Wherever you decide to go, please book ahead and be kind to the busy staff, they’ve all missed you but will be run off their feet looking after everyone.
little joe
Delicious pizzas, thoughtfully curated toppings, authentic wood fired oven and a great local wine list. This spot is a favourite amongst locals, riders and visitors. Lang and the team will take great care of you.
The charm of a country pub is unmissable.
alpine retreat hotel
New owners Rachael and Anthony have lovingly restored this grand old pub over the last two years and can’t wait to share it with you. Their kitchen will be pumping out the ‘classics’ that we all know and love this summer.
Oscar’s recommends…
There are so many great places to visit, trails to trek, wines to drink as well as restaurants to enjoy while you’re staying with us. We’ve compiled a list of our favourite spots on the map below. The blue markers are places to dine, the green are places to visit and the pink are wineries that shouldn’t be missed! Please let us know if you find other places you think we should share.
If you’re venturing out into the wilds, which we absolutely recommend, please be aware of the conditions and restrictions, for your safety. It’s a really good idea to have the Vic Emergency app installed and don’t forget to update your location. Another little tip is to take a screenshot of your map so that if you lose internet coverage while on your adventure, you still have a copy of the map in your photos. (*Apologies to Apple and Mac users, updated map recommendations coming soon!)
